kerneloops-applet software package provides applet for the kernel oops tracker, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kerneloops-applet
kerneloops-applet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kerneloops-applet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kerneloops-applet *
You will get with kerneloops-applet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
